The 2016 ETA conference titled ‘The Changing Face of the European Towage Industry: Challenges or Opportunities’ will be held at the University of Edinburgh, on the 12th of May.
This year’s conference will be looking into the current changing trends that the towage industry is facing, the upcoming challenges or opportunities, broadly looked at from the regulatory/legal, market, commercial, technical and operational perspective.
High-profile speakers will provide their insights into current policy initiatives and opportunities regarding port services and the shipping industry, the current state of towage in ports and terminals, the influence of market, technological and operational factors on towage, as well as the impact of UK towage standard conditions on towage risks cover.
Following that, panelists and members will have the opportunity to discuss, ask questions and comment on the presentations and the programme. Full presentations and interviews will be available after the conference on this site.
