Annual Meeting

The ETA meets once a year for its Annual Meeting, mostly a three days programme which includes a meeting of the Executive Committee, the statutory Annual General Meeting of Members and a meeting with the Associate Members as well a Social Day. These meetings are always held in different European places where ETA members are operating. The members based in that country host the meeting. In the framework of these Annual Meetings the ETA organises presentations for its members and associate members about topics related to the towage industry and being of general interest to the participants. AGM locations Hosted and sponsored by UK member JP Knight Group, the ETA held its 47th Annual Meeting in London from 9th till 11th June. Attended by some 110 delegates, it ranked among the best ever attended in recent history of the Association. Safety and Best Practice in port towage operations were the main features under consideration and actively discussed among participants during the Annual General Meeting of Members and the conference with Associate Members. The event was co-sponsored by Associate Members ABC, Damen, Redwise, Schottel, Shipowners' Protection, Standard London, Voith.
